What does pulling content and pushing content mean?

Within the PIM module, we distinguish between two types of content flows:

Pulling content

This means ChannelDock can use existing product content from a connected integration as a source. For example, titles, descriptions, and other product information that already exists on a marketplace or webshop.

Pushing content

This means you can send content managed in the PIM module from ChannelDock to a connected integration.

Not every integration supports both directions. Some integrations can only be used as a source, while others support both pulling and pushing content.
