Since JTL's acquisition by Hg Capital in October 2023, the licence structure and costs have changed noticeably for many merchants. Three price increases in two years, new annual contracts with a 12-month lock-in, removed connectors and hidden side costs make switching to a modern cloud alternative attractive.
